What should I wear for chiropractic treatment?

Mostly patients will be treated clothed, but there may be instances where items of clothing need to be moved or removed (dry needling for instance). So, it is best to wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can move easily in.

Does treatment hurt?

This is probably one of the most frequently asked questions: It is quite normal to have some mild soreness after treatment for 24-48 hours, although a lot of people do not experience any discomfort at all.

Do you accept insurances?

Yes, we accept all major health insurances except BUPA

Do I need a referral from a GP?

No you do not. Chiropractic is a primary health care profession, so your chiropractor is trained to examine, diagnose and treat. We are also trained in clinical radiography and radiology, so we can refer you for necessary imaging such as x-ray and MRI and interpret it for you.

If for any reason, we deem it necessary we can refer you back to your GP for further investigations, or onwards for specialist consultation.
